Lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting as Controller at Stephenville International Airport in Newfoundland and Labrador. Standard Monday-to-Friday hours include month-end flexibility.

This Controller leads day-to-day financial operations and partners with senior leadership. The work covers accounting, budgeting, reporting, internal controls, and governance. The position supports accurate decisions and the airport’s long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journals, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ownership reporting packages
Direct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow planning
Oversee payables, receivables, billing, payroll, collections,



and banking relationships
Coordinate audits, tax filings, controls, capital reporting, and lender compliance

Requirements:
Chartered Qualified Accountant designation required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or related field
Five-plus years’ progressive accounting experience preferred
Solid ASPE and/or IFRS knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software experience
