Night cleaning and building monitoring define this Housekeeper role with Optima Living, supporting protected, welcoming senior living communities overnight.

Reporting to a site manager, the Night Housekeeper maintains cleanliness across premises, bathrooms, common spaces, and supplies. The position supports residents, team members, visitors, and emergency services while following person-centered care principles. Accuracy, confidentiality, infection control, and occupational health and safety remain central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing tasks
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, and common spaces
Monitor the building overnight and respond to emergencies
Report maintenance concerns, damages, incidents,



and unsafe conditions
Maintain records, replenish supplies, and support quality improvement

Requirements:
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials
Housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset
Ability to communicate respectfully with residents and visitors
Ability to work independently and cooperate with others
Computer literacy and flexibility for wide-ranging shifts
