This Assistant Store Manager role contributes to the overall store concept and helps the Front Store Manager achieve budgeted results. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, motivation, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and union issues where applicable. The position also supports Health and Wellness product knowledge, loss prevention, Health and Safety, and pharmacy care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with human resource activities and staff motivation
- Support exceptional customer service and patient care standards
- Champion store-level Health and Wellness expertise




- Maintain merchandising, planograms, and core programs
- Support labour costs, shrink, and controllable expenses

Requirements:

- Previous supervisory experience in retail environments
- One to two years of retail experience
- Effective communication and proven customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change
- Financial report review and analysis experience
