As a Registered Apprentice Technician, you will continue on-the-job learning when not attending school. You will gradually progress toward a Licensed Technician opportunity while working with the premium Caterpillar brand. The role involves mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnosis, repairs, service documentation, and protected work practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Repair Caterpillar and other brands of customer equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment problems
Use Caterpillar testing equipment during diagnostic work
Prepare accurate service reports and documentation




Demonstrate protected, environmentally sound workplace behaviours

Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma
Currently enrolled in a Heavy Equipment Technician program
Completion of a post-secondary Heavy Equipment Technician program
Willingness to continue learning alongside experienced Technicians
Interest in progressing toward a Licensed Technician chance
