Support respiratory care at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg while developing respiratory therapy equipment experience. This in-person position includes days, evenings, and weekends.

As a Respiratory Therapy Assistant - Student, you will assist the Respiratory Therapist in a non-clinical fashion. Work occurs under general supervision within Respiratory Services - SBH. The position supports patients while requiring communication, organization, and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Respiratory Therapist with non-clinical respiratory care
Support patient care activities at St. Boniface Hospital
Work under the Registered Respiratory Therapist’s direction
Complete department-provided on-the-job training
Handle respiratory therapy equipment as required

Requirements:
Manitoba High School Diploma or equivalent
Enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education program
Current second- or third-year student in valuable standing
Basic computer and keyboarding skills
Ability to lift equipment up to 45 pounds
