Our client is sourcing for PART-TIME (10 hours per week) Tax & Regulatory Reporting SME to support translating tax and regulatory reporting obligations into processes, controls, ownership and supporting documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Documenting financial reporting / regulatory reporting processes and controls
Distinguish regulatory obligation, process step, control and evidence
Document how CTB complies with requirements and how those requirements map to processes and controls

REQUIREMENTS:
Banking or large financial institution experience preferred
Robust Canadian Income Tax Act knowledge; Tax compliance processes, filings and associated controls
Ability to rationalize detailed tax requirements into regulatory themes and end-to-end processes
Solid understanding of banking regulatory reporting and CDIC requirements




Strong risk and control mindset; able to distinguish regulatory obligation, process step, control and evidence
Experience as a tax compliance / controls practitioner NOT tax-planning specialist
Excellent verbal, collaboration and written communication skills
Works well independently

Pay Rate

$60.00/ Hour

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
