Develop camera systems software for Mecka AI’s robotics data infrastructure, focusing on capture, encoding, synchronization, and sustained recording performance. Work on real hardware.
This engineer builds and debugs embedded Linux and Android software across camera-enabled devices. The work supports accurate recordings for humanoid and embodied AI systems, from board bring-up through deployment. Relevant expertise includes Linux drivers, Android camera HALs, buffering, storage throughput, system-level debugging, and performance measurement. You will preserve data through long sessions and interruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and debug software on real capture hardware
- Support camera capture, encoding, and recording data paths
- Measure throughput, resource use, power, and system behavior
- Investigate field failures with hardware and test engineers
- Validate fixes across supported device configurations
Requirements:
- Solid C or C++ skills with Python or shell scripting
- Linux or Android internals knowledge, including I/O and filesystems
- Hands-on embedded development and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to reason about timing, data integrity, and concurrency
- Experience testing software under realistic hardware conditions
Bring camera systems expertise, embedded programming, and performance reasoning to Mecka AI’s recording technology for robotics.
