This Large Loss Commercial Property Claims Examiner role oversees third party adjuster handling from investigation through settlement. You will direct required steps, review evidence, assess coverage, and ensure customer service aligns with Aviva procedures. The work includes market calls, subscription claims, claim analysis, and timely communication. You will also recognize questionable claims, subrogation, and risk opportunities while maintaining accurate data and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct independent adjusters through required claim activities
- Arrange market calls and coordinate subscription claims
- Analyze reports, policies, estimates,



and specialist findings
- Resolve claims through written adjustment reports
- Identify questionable claims, subrogation, and risk opportunities

Requirements:

- 15 or more years in commercial property claims
- Experience handling losses above $5,000,000
- Knowledge of property coverage wordings and case law
- Basic accounting and robust construction knowledge
- Outstanding negotiation and communication abilities
