This Software Engineer role supports Asana’s growing AI organization across several core teams. You may contribute to platform foundations, runtime infrastructure, trust, evaluation, observability, or product surfaces. Key Responsibilities:
Implement small-to-medium features and services end to end
Write tested code across Asana’s software stack
Evaluate latency, cost, and reliability trade-offs
Monitor production pipelines and participate in on-call rotations




Review code and improve test coverage and technical debt

Requirements:
Two-plus years shipping production software professionally
Experience with distributed architectures, web services, or data-intensive systems
Solid software design, testing, and data structures fundamentals
Experience or curiosity with LLMs, prompt pipelines, or vector databases
Ability to communicate progress and surface blockers early
