As Producer, you will lead a team producing a daily three-hour radio program for CBC Newfoundland & Labrador. You will develop editorial content, creative storytelling, and guest ideas while reflecting the people of Newfoundland. The work requires sharp news instincts, reporting, presentation, and broadcast writing skills.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, assign, vet, guide, and collaborate with the editorial team
Research, write, and produce original current affairs stories
Present stories on-air with analysis and context when required
Respond quickly to breaking news and deliver exclusive material




Coordinate features, long-term coverage, and provincial communication
Requirements: Minimum three years’ recent experience in a daily news setting
Robust journalistic, audio editing, reporting, and storytelling skills
Ability to manage fast-moving information under tight time constraints
Knowledge of journalism’s legal and ethical issues
Valid driver’s license and availability for varied shifts
