Apply electronics troubleshooting and automation controls expertise as a Prototype Technician at Svante’s Redwood facility in Burnaby. This is an in office role five days weekly.

At Operator Level 3, you will work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop, assemble, and validate manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures. The position supports manufacturing trials, quality testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, documentation, maintenance, and hands-on training.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures
Support manufacturing trials and conduct quality testing
Troubleshoot equipment and improve manufacturing processes
Maintain equipment and document technical results




Support hands-on training for recent methods

Requirements:
Diploma in Industrial Automation, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering Technology
Practical electronics and electronic test equipment experience
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with servo systems, drives, PLCs, and electronic controls
Robust problem-solving, documentation, safety, and collaboration skills

Use electronics, PLC troubleshooting, technical documentation, and process improvement skills to support Svante manufacturing in Burnaby.
