This General Accounting Manager supports Fraser Health’s operational and strategic needs. The position manages financial statements, external audits, accounting systems, and departmental resources. It also guides budgets, policies, reporting, and staff development for the General Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop departmental goals supporting Fraser Health accounting strategies
Manage operating budgets and financial resource utilization
Lead staff, recruitment, development, and performance management
Oversee financial statements, reconciliations,



and accounting systems
Coordinate external audits and related reporting

Requirements:
CPA designation and/or related university degree
Seven years’ recent managerial and supervisory experience
Experience in a large, complex, multi-union setting
Proficiency with computerized financial systems
Ability to organize work within deadlines
