Apply P&C; insurance expertise across regulatory reporting, financial statements, and technical accounting as a hybrid Finance Director in Toronto. The contract includes three office days weekly.

This Finance Director leads core reporting and planning activities within a collaborative, highly visible finance team. The work includes OSFI filings, audit support, variance analysis, and management reporting for senior stakeholders. You will partner across accounting, reporting, FP&A;, and project teams while supporting complex IFRS 17 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review regulatory filings for accuracy and compliance
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and internal controls




- Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and journal entries
- Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS 17

Requirements:

- Knowledge of P&C; insurance financial requirements
- Experience supporting internal and external audits
- Robust variance analysis and executive communication skills
- Background in regulatory reporting, especially OSFI
- Leadership experience within a finance function
