As part of Ribbon’s Data Plane team, you will develop highly optimized and secure software across custom hardware and dedicated platforms. The work includes quick-path technologies, hardware offloads, and performance verification with system-test teams. Collaboration spans Ribbon’s global engineering locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create software for data plane acceleration technologies
- Target network processors on custom hardware platforms
- Investigate customer issues from installed products
- Use test tools to verify product functionality
- Measure networking product performance with system-test teams

Requirements:

- Five or more years of networking or communications experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
- Strong C and embedded programming background
- Experience with hardware offloads or SmartNICs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
