Support John Deere agricultural equipment in Brandt’s Red Deer, AB service department through diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

This Heavy Equipment Technician position serves Brandt’s Agriculture Division and its agricultural equipment customers. You will diagnose and maintain tractors, hay tools, and other Ag and Turf implements. Your work covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, guidance, and precision agriculture systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and equipment systems
- Maintain electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, and guidance systems
- Perform fluid changes, filter changes, testing, and adjustments
- Repair or diagnose equipment at customer sites when required




- Document work orders for customer and warranty records

Requirements:

- Agriculture Equipment Technician certification is an asset
- Heavy Equipment Technician certification is an asset
- Registered trade apprentices are welcome to apply
- Previous field technician or road technician experience is beneficial
- Passion for problem solving and learning updated equipment technology
