This senior counsel position supports Trouw Nutrition’s international business units through practical legal guidance and proactive risk management. You will translate complex matters into actionable advice, strengthen governance, and help leadership teams manage routine compliance confidently. The work spans agreements, external counsel, training, investigations, M&A;, and cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Anticipate legal risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements
- Draft and revise international commercial agreements
- Develop self-service resources, templates, and digital tools




- Deliver legal and Ethics & Compliance training
- Support M&A; and other strategic business initiatives

Requirements:

- Seven-plus years in an international business environment
- Licensed lawyer in Canada or the USA
- Robust communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
- Business acumen translating legal matters into practical guidance
- Ability to travel across North America and internationally
