Position Title: Deli Attendant Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Deli Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving fresh food and beverages in a fast-paced deli environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to food safety standards, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments.
- Assist customers with menu selections and product information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area. Food Preparation
- Prepare sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and other deli items according to company standards.
- Operate and clean panini press and other food preparation equipment safely.
- Prepare and serve hot dogs and other hot food items.
- Prepare specialty beverages, including milkshakes and other menu drinks.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly. Food Safety & Sanitation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation, service, and storage areas.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory as required.




- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. General Duties
- Stock and replenish food, beverage, and supply inventory.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid ProServe Certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safe Certification.
- Previous customer service, retail, food service, or deli experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) occasionally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as food preparation and stocking.
