Dental Assistant
- Floater The team at Arvanitis & Associates located in Waterloo, Ontario are looking for highly adaptable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant
- Floater with clinical experience in fast-paced dental environment for a full time position. The ideal candidate for our team should have strong ability to seamlessly transition between chairside assisting, sterile processing and front-desk administration.

Key responsibilities

· Clinical & Chairside Support: Provide proactive chairside assistance for restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures; handle operatory setup and teardown efficiently.
· Sterilization & IPAC Compliance: Manage the sterilization area in strict adherence to Public Health Ontario and IPAC guidelines, including autoclave operation, biological monitoring, and instrument tracking.
· Radiography: Capture high-quality intraoral and extraoral digital radiographs (panoramic, bitewing, periapical) in accordance with HARP regulations.




· Patient Flow Optimization: Float between multiple operatories to assist dentists and hygienists, minimizing patient wait times and streamlining clinic workflow.
· Administrative Support: Perform front-desk duties during peak hours.
· Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor clinical inventory levels, restock operatories, and perform routine maintenance on dental equipment to ensure operational readiness. Qualifications
· Level II Dental Assistant Certification preferred
· HARP Certification is a must
