We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across the production facility. This role oversees production planning, scheduling, inventory, logistics and vendor coordination to keep product available and the production teams on schedule. It supports the medical and recreational cannabis platforms and international exports, working closely with internal teams, vendors and external partners. The ideal candidate brings robust planning, inventory control, leadership and communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key duties and responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure business activities run efficiently and on schedule.
- Lead, train and support operations staff; set goals and manage performance.
- Develop, implement and improve operating policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Coordinate across Sales, Quality, Logistics, Finance and Management to align priorities.
- Ensure operations meet regulatory, compliance, health and safety requirements.
- Manage vendor, supplier and service provider relationships and contracts.
- Prepare and manage operating budgets; monitor costs and identify efficiencies.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report results to senior management.
- Oversee the systems and tools used to run the business, including inventory and order management.




- Support the medical, recreational and international export areas of the business.
- Identify operational risks and bottlenecks, and resolve or escalate them promptly.
- Lead continuous improvement and special projects as the business grows. Qualifications and experience Required
- 6+ years of experience in operations, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional work.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control and performance reporting.
- Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulated business processes. Nice to have
- Experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical, food, natural health products or other regulated industries.
- Experience with ERP, inventory, Shopify or similar business systems.
- Degree in business, operations management or a related field.
