As a regular part time Food Service Worker I with Island Health, you will perform diverse Food Services Operations duties. The position includes portioning and serving meals, preparing beverages and toast, and washing produce. Patient and staff safety, quality, and continuous improvement are shared responsibilities throughout this work.

Key Responsibilities:
Portion and serve meals in hospital food services
Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
Prepare tea, coffee, and toast items
Wash dishes and utensils
Support patient and staff safety responsibilities

Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Food Secure Level 1 certificate
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal effectively with others
Physical ability to perform position duties
