This unionized Technician Trainee position supports Distribution Operations and a long-term utility career. You will operate pipeline systems, complete regulated documentation, respond to emergencies, and perform construction tasks. Company training supports the Gas Utilities Operator course.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain natural gas pipeline systems efficiently
Complete required documentation on time under regulations
Respond to natural gas-related emergencies during rotational on-call duties
Perform construction tasks according to policies and procedures
Represent Apex Utilities Inc. to customers and the public
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Three related years, including one natural gas utility operations year
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
Ability to perform necessary physical requirements
Residence within 30 minutes of Athabasca District Office
Develop pipeline operations, emergency response, construction, and customer service capabilities as an Apex Utilities Inc. Technician Trainee.
