PACT seeks Legal Counsel for its dedicated project legal team delivering the Greater Toronto Airports Authority’s Accelerator program. You will safeguard commercial interests, manage interface risks, and support contractual compliance. The work covers specialized subcontracts, amendments, settlement agreements, construction claims, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft subcontracts, amendments, settlement agreements, and legal briefings
Advise procurement teams on the prime project agreement
Assess change orders, delay claims, notices, and requests
Coordinate construction adjudications and assemble dispute evidence
Support permitting, building codes, and airport regulations
Requirements:
J.D. or LL.B. degree
Law Society of Ontario membership with L1 status
Three to five years of post-call corporate or commercial experience
Construction law or alternative contract delivery experience preferred
Robust drafting, communication, commercial, and problem-solving skills
Bring construction contracts, claims management, and practical legal judgment to PACT’s major Pearson infrastructure program in Mississauga.
