Keep Huron-Perth Catholic schools safe and clean as a Casual Custodian, using cleaning equipment and completing maintenance duties as scheduled. Work Monday to Friday on an as-needed basis, supporting staff and students across school properties.

Reporting to the Principal, this Casual Custodian maintains school buildings and grounds through general cleaning and maintenance. The work includes disinfecting washrooms, managing waste, cleaning floors, and addressing snow and ice. Minor repairs, grounds care, furniture movement, and equipment operation are also part of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate cleaning equipment to remove dirt and heavy debris
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, lunchrooms, walls, ceilings, and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, hallways,



and stairs
- Explicit snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Move furniture, supplies, and equipment; complete minor repairs

Requirements:

- Previous custodial or cleaning experience required
- School cleaning experience considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and minor repair ability
- Proficient computer skills required
- Google Workspace experience considered an asset
