Use conventional milling and measuring skills as a Gate Machinist, machining castings and inspecting fixtures throughout production. This role requires daily standing.

The Gate Machinist removes gates from castings after pre-inspection. You will visually check that sell material has been removed, validate routers, and follow casting requirements. The work also includes fixture inspection, hoist handling, and company safety programs.

Machine all casting gates using a conventional milling machine
Visually check castings after pre-inspection
Validate routers before machining work begins
Use and inspect required casting fixtures
Respect company ethics and Setting, Health & Safety programs

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent machining training
Ability to read safety and operating documents
Ability to use measuring instruments
Ability to handle hoists and milling equipment
Visual dexterity, manual dexterity, and sound judgment
