This permanent Youth Worker position serves residential-care programs at Covenant House Toronto. You will assess youth needs, support case plans, facilitate life skills, and connect clients with community resources. Key Responsibilities:
Assess youth needs using a trauma-informed approach
Support client plans with youth and Case Managers
Facilitate life skills and recreational activities
Provide daily support, counseling, and behavior management




Complete case documentation, intakes, and discharges

Requirements:
Child and youth work degree, diploma, or equivalent
Two years’ shelter or residential experience using trauma-informed practice
Knowledge of adolescent development and street-youth issues
First Aid and CPR certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
