This Physiotherapy Assistant role serves a Long Term Care client under direct or indirect Physiotherapist supervision. You will help residents complete assigned exercises, pursue treatment goals, and receive documented therapy support. Communication and protected mobility assistance are central.
Key Responsibilities: Assist group exercises and lead assigned one-on-one exercises
Encourage residents toward planned treatment program goals
Document treatments and resident progress after each session
Assist walking, sitting, and secure resident transfers
Monitor health changes and report to supervisors
Requirements: Physiotherapy Assistant graduate or equivalent qualification
Excellent multitasking skills and pressure management
Solid communication with elderly residents and teammates
Current Vulnerable Sector police check required
