Lead theatre production and facilities operations at Theatre Network’s Roxy in Edmonton, using production management and technical direction expertise. Coordinate creative, technical, and administrative teams across programming.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time, permanent Director oversees Mainstage productions, Nextfest, hosted programming, and gallery activity. The position combines team leadership, venue operations, production systems, health and safety, and facility maintenance. Theatre Network presents contemporary theatre, visual art, and community programming at The Roxy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage production for Mainstage productions, Nextfest, and other activities
- Hire, train, develop, and schedule contract technicians
- Authorize purchases according to show and season budgets




- Supervise theatre systems, scenic installation, and gallery exhibits
- Oversee health, safety, mechanical, and electrical operations

Requirements:

- Three to five years’ production management or technical direction experience
- Understanding of lighting, sound, video systems, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of theatre health and safety
- Experience leading production teams with robust communication
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday hours
