We're looking for reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaners to help maintain clean, protected, and welcoming school environments.This is a casual/on-call position, with assignments available as needed based on operational and staffing requirements. You'll work independently to clean classrooms, common areas, washrooms, and other school facilities while following established cleaning and safety procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, offices, staff rooms, gyms, and washroomsSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areasEmpty garbage and recycling binsReplenish soap, paper towels, tissue,



and other hygiene suppliesDisinfect high-touch surfaces according to health and safety standardsMaintain clean entrances and common areasFollow school safety procedures and cleaning protocolsReport maintenance or safety concerns to supervisorsUse cleaning equipment and supplies safely and responsiblyPerform additional custodial duties as assignedQualificationsAt least 1 year of cleaning experience requiredPrevious janitorial or custodial experiencePrevious experience working in a school or institutional environmentLegally eligible to work in CanadaAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and time-management skillsReliable, punctual, and professionalPhysically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasksRole RequirementsValid Police Clearance Check (required before placement)Safety shoes requiredReliable transportation is considered an asset due to varying work locations and shiftsFlexible availability for on call assignments
