As a Fabrication Machine Operator, you will form parts used to fabricate products by cutting, stamping, and shaping steel. Manual touch-ups support finished parts. The work includes operating NC, 700-ton all-steel equipment, rollers, shears, B&B; presses, belt sanders, and deburr-levelers. General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada requires a post-secondary diploma and three to five years of manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Form steel parts for product fabrication
Cut, stamp, and shape parts using equipment
Complete manual touch-ups with hand tools




Load and unload heavy parts using lifting methods
Operate presses, rollers, shears, and sanders

Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma
Three to five years of manufacturing experience
Ability to work rotating day, afternoon, and night shifts
Ability to perform diverse physical work postures
