As a Ramp Handler, you will move freight between the ramp and facility using required procedures. The position requires ramp training, equipment certification, and secure package handling. Candidates need communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills for operational work.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles
Scan freight accurately during ramp operations
Transport freight between ramps and facility areas
Handle packages using appropriate equipment
Complete assigned ramp duties and training
Requirements:
High school diploma or educational equivalent
Valid driver’s license and valuable driving record
Ability to complete GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking, and DG certification
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Ability to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds
