JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Monday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm Friday 7 am to 1:30pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
Balance cash drawers and follow cash-handling procedures.
Keep cashier stations, dining areas, and service counters clean and stocked. Replenish beverages, condiments, snacks, and supplies as required.
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.




Assist with light food preparation, stocking, and cleaning duties when needed.
Support other cafeteria, catering, or food service departments during busy periods or special events.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace.Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Food Handler Certification is an asset.
