This permanent Paralegal position supports BC Assessment, a Provincial Crown Corporation. You will investigate facts, analyze precedents, and prepare legal summaries for organizational decision-making. The work also includes reviewing legal information, managing opinions, and supporting legislative materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analyze case law and precedents
- Prepare reports, statistical summaries, memos, and legal summaries
- Manage legal opinions for consistency across BC Assessment
- Locate and produce documentary or testimonial evidence




- Assist with legislative materials, arguments, and communications

Requirements:

- Recognized Paralegal Certificate and two years’ legal office experience
- Or two-year Paralegal Diploma and one year’s paralegal experience
- Or four-year university degree with some paralegal experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Organized, service-focused approach to broad paralegal services
