Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely while receiving, storing, and shipping food products under general supervision. Americold requires accurate product movement throughout the facility.

This Forklift Operator position supports freight loading, unloading, storage, order assembly, and shipment preparation. You will use sit-down, stand-up, and high-reach forklifts, straddle trucks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, and RF equipment. The work requires OSHA-compliant operation, production standards, and orderly work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload freight using proper material-handling equipment
- Stack, store, pick, assemble, label, sort, and pack merchandise
- Check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation
- Operate forklifts,



pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely
- Perform inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Three months of related work experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet production standards
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends
- Ability to work safely in cold temperatures and elevated areas
