We are currently looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a temporary 2-week assignment at a mushroom production facility in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials from one greenhouse to another within the facility. This role involves working in a quick-paced production environment and performing physical tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to transport materials between greenhouses.
Assist with moving and handling materials throughout the facility.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Maintain a protected and organized work workplace.
Assist with general duties as required.
Requirements:
Valid counterbalance forklift license is required.
CSA-approved safety shoes are mandatory.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in an indoor greenhouse environment with varying temperatures, including cold and humid conditions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious .
