Support clean facilities through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and furniture care as a Housekeeping Aide in the Housekeeping department.

This Housekeeping Aide position performs light cleaning duties across floors, stairways, walls, windows, walkways, carpets, furniture, and fixtures. The work also includes washroom disinfection, bed making, linen handling, waste removal, equipment care, and facility security procedures. The position reports to a Support Service Worker.

Key Responsibilities:
Sweep, spot wash, and damp mop facility surfaces
Vacuum, shampoo, brush, and shake carpets and rugs
Dust, polish, and wipe furniture, fixtures, and blinds
Disinfect washrooms and replenish soap and towels
Empty waste containers and remove building garbage

Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Deal effectively with others
Organize work and operate related equipment
Physical ability to perform position duties

Apply housekeeping cleaning, washroom care, and equipment operation skills while maintaining orderly facility spaces and services.
