Support mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance as an Industrial Millwright with AVL/Solvet, working in office in SE Calgary, Monday through Friday.

This Industrial Millwright supports production, laboratory, packaging, and facility equipment at Alberta Veterinary Laboratories. The Equipment Technician works with Production, Quality, R&D;, and Facilities to reduce downtime. Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting supports protected, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on production and laboratory equipment
Troubleshoot failures and complete timely equipment repairs
Set up, adjust, test, and change over production lines
Maintain maintenance, inspection, and repair records




Support equipment installation, commissioning, and modifications

Requirements:
Mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance training preferred
Manufacturing equipment maintenance experience preferred
WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certifications
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and aerial platform certification
Fluency in spoken and written English required
