Lead outdoor recreation for children and youth with Kinark Child and Family Services in a temporary full time position. Use safety leadership and communication skills.

The Outdoor Program Facilitator reports to Program Supervisors at the Kinark Outdoor Centre. You will facilitate activities, interact with participants, and foster group development. The work includes supervising waterfront safety, adapting programming, maintaining equipment, and following emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate rock climbing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking
Lead games, leadership activities, and group initiatives
Adapt programs to participants’ wants and needs
Monitor participant safety in waterfront areas




Attend and complete required training

Requirements:
Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
Experience working with children or youth of varying ages
Outdoor recreation or environmental programming experience
Robust organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Availability for weekends, evenings, and shared on-call periods

Support Kinark outdoor programming through protected facilitation, adaptable activities, and attentive supervision for children and youth.
