As a Recreational Therapist on an inter-qualified inpatient rehabilitation team, you will develop, implement, evaluate, and revise therapeutic recreation programs. The work supports adults with physical, cognitive, or social disabilities. You will also provide leadership for community-based events and group programming that encourage social and recreational participation.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop individualized therapeutic recreation, leisure, and life skills programs
Design and implement group therapeutic recreation programming
Evaluate and revise programs according to patient needs




Lead community-based events and group programming
Support social and recreational participation patterns

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Allied Health
Membership in Therapeutic Recreation Ontario
Current BCLS certification
Three years’ recent acute medical or long-term care experience
Excellent communication, teaching, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
