The Salvation Army operates Sunset Lodge, a long-term care home committed to ensuring residents feel known, valued, and cared for. As a Care Aide, you will support daily living, resident mobility, meals, activities, and care planning. Your work contributes to a home guided by Christ and rooted in love.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and skin care
Assist resident transfers using belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and lifts
Record observations and report condition changes to nursing staff
Support meals, monitor intake,



and report nutrition concerns
Transport residents to dining, chapel, activities, and programs

Requirements:
Grade 10 and recognized Nursing Assistant Program graduation
Current BC Care Aide and Community Registration
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to carry out position duties
Successful applicable screening and background checks
