Develop structural design skills with TYLin as a Buildings Engineering Intern in Toronto, using computer modeling and hand calculations. This full time internship is based at 380 Wellington Street West.

TYLin seeks an intern for its Toronto office during Summer 2027. You will support structural engineering projects involving commercial, institutional, and residential buildings, from conceptual design through construction. The work includes drawings, field reviews, existing-condition documentation, and engineering software.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist project teams with structural building designs and drawings
Support work from preliminary design through construction
Perform field reviews during construction projects
Document existing conditions during building visits




Assist with computer modeling and hand calculations

Requirements:
Current third-year undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering student
Architectural Engineering students focusing on structures may apply
At least one steel or concrete design class required
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and engineering software
REVIT Structure familiarity or related building internship experience beneficial
