This Mortgage Specialist builds referral networks, develops mortgage business, and increases BMO’s home financing market share. The position requires knowledge of mortgage lending, regulatory requirements, customer service, and negotiation. You will guide customers through applications while partnering with BMO branch teams and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Build referral relationships generating mortgage business and originations
Identify sales, cross-sell, and up-sell prospects
Guide customers through mortgage applications and processing
Coordinate documentation and handoffs with branch teams
Resolve issues and support timely fund advancement
Requirements:
Three to five years of relevant experience typically
Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
In-depth mortgage lending and regulatory knowledge
Robust interpersonal, sales, service, and negotiation skills
In-depth analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
