The Recreation Aide plans, coordinates, and delivers programs according to established care plans. Working within demonstrated competencies, this position follows AgeCare policies and the Team-oriented Care Model. The role supports resident assessments, program evaluation, documentation, and daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate recreation and leisure programs with leadership
- Create welcoming environments encouraging resident participation
- Support assessments and evaluate program effectiveness
- Maintain participation records and departmental charting




- Facilitate events, outings, and transportation support

Requirements:

- Diploma in recreation, leisure studies, or related field
- Experience with seniors is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and compassionate communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
