Alberta Corrections seeks Correctional Peace Officers for adult, youth, and community-based corrections environments. You will support care and custody while maintaining centre safety and security. The work requires interpersonal skills, sound judgment, communication, and basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor inmate movement, conduct patrols, and complete counts
- Manage behaviour, conduct searches, and maintain centre security
- Provide support, guidance, and positive role modelling
- Complete reports, data entry, and related administrative duties
- Maintain safety for staff, inmates, and the public

Requirements:

- High School diploma and two years of related experience
- Conflict management and de-escalation experience
- Valid unrestricted Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C with AED certification
- Physical capability and eligibility to work in Canada
