Deliver long-term care nursing and resident support onsite at Langara in Vancouver, serving Providence Health Care’s multi-site program.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide safe, respectful care under the Resident Care Manager’s guidance. The position supports experienced and newly practicing LPNs across long-term care sites. You will assess residents, administer medications, coordinate care, and support residents, families, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide secure nursing care using individualized care plans
- Assess residents and communicate concerns with RN or RPN
- Administer medications and monitor their effects
- Participate in care planning and advocate for residents




- Respond to incidents according to established procedures

Requirements:

- Graduate from a recognized Practical Nursing program
- Registered practicing LPN with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Current basic cardiac life support certification
- Knowledge of appropriate cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and analyze work

Support long-term care residents through assessment, medication administration, individualized planning, and compassionate interdisciplinary collaboration.
