Job Responsibilities:Develop and maintain software components on current and future networking related products.Hands on in bug fixing current products.Work closely with Dev Ops and QA team to deliver high quality productsResearch, investigate, optimize and tune systems software (management/control/data plane) to enhance existing products.Implement software features of high quality and on schedule.Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.Job Requirements:Strong C/C++ programming experience in Linux/Unix environments.Good understanding of TCP/IP network stack.Familiar with Linux kernel networking data structures and packet flow process.Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting networking issues.Experience with multi process/thread programming using POSIX and System V.Knowledge in Firewall, IPSec, DNS, RIP, OSPF, BGP, IPv6, Openflow,
etc.Valuable knowledge of performance tuning is a plus.Educational Requirements:Canadian citizenship is requiredThe Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $125,000 - $170,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
