Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a Maintenance Worker 1 for a 1.0 on-call position. The work supports a people-centered health-care workplace through equipment knowledge, preventative maintenance, and protected work practices. Candidates need maintenance experience, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain mechanical equipment and yard care equipment
Read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals
Apply preventative maintenance programs and secure work practices
Perform required calculations and solve maintenance problems
Respond on call within 20 minutes when notified

Requirements:
Minimum two years’ maintenance experience
Grade twelve education or equivalent
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and insured vehicle
Knowledge of Fire Codes and C.S.A. standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
