Registered Dental Assistant needed in Edmonton for full time fixed-term work, supporting patient care, dental procedures, digital imaging, and infection control.

Westmount Dental Centre seeks a Registered Dental Assistant for a contract ending in May 2027. The practice provides comprehensive dental services seven days weekly, with shifts from 7 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Friday and bi-weekly Saturdays. This position supports dentists, hygienists, and patients within a team-oriented dental team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists during patient treatments
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required




Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
Update charts and support scheduling, patient flow, and administration

Requirements:
Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant provincially
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Ability to follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Ethical qualified behaviour with strong patient relationships
