Support Caterpillar customers as a Parts Counter Specialist with parts expertise, recommendations, and timely counter, email, and phone service.
Toromont Cat is seeking a Parts Counter person for full time, permanent work. You will support product expertise, parts sourcing, ordering, inventory counts, warranties, and hydraulic hose building. The role serves internal and external customers while supporting brand loyalty and current promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide parts recommendations and product expertise to customers
Manage inquiries through the counter, email, and phone
Source, procure, and order required parts
Follow up on backorders, credits, cores, and warranties
Conduct inventory counts and build hydraulic hoses
Requirements:
Minimum post-secondary education
At least two years in a parts service role
Protected, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviours
Timely and courteous communication with customers
Apply parts service experience, product knowledge, and hydraulic hose skills within Toromont Cat’s Caterpillar dealership network.
