As a Lab Patient Technician, you will manage the specimen collection process from greeting patients through specimen preparation. Your work includes phlebotomies, ECG tracings, Holter monitor connections, and special test collections. You will also complete documentation, data entry, and patient communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and collect required information
- Explain collection procedures and verify testing protocols
- Perform phlebotomies, ECG tracings, and Holter monitoring




- Complete special collections and related documentation
- Prepare specimens for transportation and testing

Requirements:

- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
- Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Computer proficiency and minimum 40 words per minute typing
- Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
