Use phlebotomy skills as a Float Laboratory Assistant with Dynacare across Ottawa-area locations. Support patients through specimen collection, testing, and compassionate service.

This contract, full time, 12-month position guarantees 35 hours weekly on day shifts from Monday through Saturday. You will collect blood and other specimens, conduct patient tests, and support positive team settings. The work includes customer service, data accuracy, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Obtain quality blood samples using skilled venipuncture techniques
Conduct patient tests and complete specimen collections
Perform ECGs and Holter hookups
Enter patient and test information accurately




Maintain confidential information and support quality metrics

Requirements:
Secondary School completion and Laboratory Assistant training
Specialized phlebotomy training or Medical Lab Assistance course
Customer-focused approach and genuine care for patients
Ability to reassure anxious patients during specimen collection
Robust English communication and detail orientation
